When purchasing this asset, the customer agrees to the following terms between the Customer, and Josie George of Josie George Designs, hereinafter referred to as the Artist.
(a). The Artist agrees to the exclusive licensing of the following rights to the Customer: the right to reproduce the Artwork only once; the right to modify the Artworks in basic ways such as trimming, using parts and pieces, or adding text. This means that the Customer can use the artwork for one reproduction (one Save the Date, Wedding Invitation, Website design, etc.) but cannot use the artwork in multiple reproductions without purchasing another license.
(b). The Customer is not permitted to sell or otherwise share digital copies of the Artwork.
(c). The Artist grants the Customer the right to use the Artist’s chosen publication name, Josie George Designs, for advertising, promoting, or otherwise publicizing the Suite. The Customer shall only use personal information expressly provided and approved by the Artist.
(d). The Artist retains copyright of the original Artwork and retains a copy of the digital file. Original artwork may be provided to the customer at an additional cost.
(e). The Customer must properly identify the Artist as the creator of the Artwork and provide the Artist’s chosen publication name, Josie George Designs, when applicable. However, the Customer is not required to put the Artist’s name on the printed wedding stationary suite. For digital uses, including but not limited to social media posts or online store listings, the Customer agrees to tag proper credit to the Artist linking @josiegeorgedesigns on Instagram or the website josiegeorgedesigns.com.
(f). The Artist retains all rights to the Artwork not specified here, including but not limited to: authorship credit, the right to use the Artwork in their portfolio, and the right to reproduce the Artwork in other prints, cards, or other media or customer suites.
(g). The Artist requests a complimentary printed copy of any reproductions of the artwork (e.g. wedding stationary suite, napkins, coasters, etc.) to PO Box 1710, Telluride, CO, 81435.
(h). The Artist represents and warrants that she is the sole creator of the Artwork, and that no one has previously reserved the rights granted in this agreement. The Artist also represents that, to the best of her knowledge, the Artwork is not in violation of any rights of privacy or any other rights of third persons, does not violate any existing common law or statutory copyrights, and was not generated in part or in full by an art-generation model (so-called “AI”).
