ABOUT ME.

Hi! Thank you for finding yourself here. My name is Josie George and I am an artist and design enthusiast. I grew up in Baltimore, Maryland where I first started my artistic journey as a young student at the Mitchell School of Fine Art. I completed my undergraduate education at Johns Hopkins University, and then moved to Washington, DC where I took classes at the Washington Studio School while working and traveling often. A few years later, I relocated to Colorado and lived in Denver and Frisco before settling into the mountain town of Telluride in Colorado's western slope.

Art has been a passion and a hobby that I always come back to in some form or another. Over the years, art has presented in various ways to ground me in a particular moment or experience. Whether I am making a rental house into a home, organizing my gardens, spending more time than necessary on slide decks, indulging in local markets, taking too many photos, stopping to watch the sunshine dance on aspen leaves, carefully laying out a meal, beautifying a latte, or curating a personalized gift for a dear friend - I see and find art all around me. I decided to start this studio to help others find art around them, too.
